Are fillers right for me?
If you wish to create fuller lips, boost your skin’s vitality, create fuller lips or reduce lines and wrinkles then yes, fillers are right for you!
What problems do fillers address?
Fillers address loss of volume, deep wrinkles and can enhance your facial shape. Some of the most common procedures with fillers include:
- Natural cheek augmentation
- Lip enhancement
- Lines around both the nose and mouth
- Replacing soft tissue for scar corrections
What do fillers do?
There are many benefits to using fillers. Fillers can help create fuller lips, reshape facial contours, revitalize the skin and smooth away facial lines and wrinkles.
What’s the difference between fillers and Botox?
Fillers are best used to add volume to targeted areas. Botox will reduce the appearance of wrinkles by relaxing the muscles underneath. In other words, if you are looking for plumper lips, go with fillers. If reducing the appearance of frown lines is your goal, Botox is your answer. However, if you have deep wrinkles, you may need a combination of Botox and fillers to help present the muscle movement causing the wrinkles and to fill them in. To discuss all your best options and identify what is best for you to meet your goals, schedule a complimentary consultation with Dr. Haque.
Can I get fillers and Botox at the same visit?
You certainly can. Dr. Haque uses dermal fillers and Botox to treat different issues, he does recommend using them together depending on your own goals and aesthetic results..
What is recovery like after fillers?
Since dermal fillers are a non-invasive option you are able to get back to your normal routine almost immediately. However, some patients do mention slight redness or even mild discomfort at the injection site but you can expect this to go away after a couple of days. We will give you an ice pack you can use to help alleviate swelling. It’s reusable so you can use it as needed.
How often will I need fillers?
Results vary depending on you, however, in general, you can expect results to last up to several months to a year. Many patients start on the conservative side and opt to add more later, but Dr. Haque will discuss that with you.
