What is it?
COSMOpen is a non-invasive treatment procedure, suitable for all skin types, to treat multiple skin concerns such as: pigmentation disorders, alopecia, facial rejuvenation, stretch marks as well as skin scarring caused from acne or surgical procedures.
Why would I want it?
One of the reasons COSMOpen has proven so effective is that it not only reduces wrinkles and signs of aging but works to trigger the glow induced from collagen production. One’s skin will also heal quicker, more optimally and will last for a longer duration due to the induced collagen production.
What it does?
During the microneedling process, the COSMOpen will repeatedly puncture the skin with small, sterile needles, creating thousands of tiny channels in your skin that work to induce collagen production.
By taking advantage of the COSMOpen for microneedling one will enable their skin to absorb about 80% of the skin care product used during treatment due to the thousand of micro channels created. This is compared to your skin only absorbing 3% of products that are topically applied.
What’s the recovery?
There are many benefits to the COSMOpen treatment over laser, with the primary being minimal downtime. In addition, less painful and less expensive are also worth noting.
Most patients experience skin improvement after the first or second treatment, however, at least 4 sessions is recommended for optimal results. Patients may experience redness for 12 to 48 hour after the procedure, however, can look forward to their skin improving for the next 6 to 12 months due to collagen remodeling taking place over time.
