When you think of cosmetic procedures, you may think of complicated surgery, lengthy downtime, and obvious signs you’ve had “work done.” With today’s advanced technology and techniques, however, nothing could be further from the truth. There are things Dr. Haque can do right in the office to help you put your best self forward—cosmetic procedures with little or no downtime and lasting results.

If you’ve been considering making a change, but you’re not quite sure cosmetic surgery is right for you, read on. You might be the perfect candidate for these minimally invasive and noninvasive cosmetic procedures to help you uncover a more youthful “you.”

BodyTite

BodyTite is an amazing new technology that does more than just remove excess fat—it uses radio-frequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to actually tighten skin and restore youthful contours. The procedure can be performed alone, or with traditional liposuction, and offers dramatic, surgery-like results without the scalpel and downtime. The most common treatment areas are upper arms, abdomen, buttocks, and inner thighs. It’s also a popular procedure for men with gynecomastia (enlarged breast tissue).

Are you a good candidate?

BodyTite isn’t an alternative to weight loss, but if you’ve reached a stable weight and want to reduce stubborn fat deposits and restore smooth body contours, BodyTite provides long-lasting results with minimal swelling and discomfort compared to other techniques.

What you can expect

Whether you choose BodyTite alone, or in combination with liposuction, the treatment is performed in our office in a single session. Unlike liposuction alone, which can leave loose or wrinkled skin, BodyTite actually restores taut, youthful skin tone.

BodyTite versus surgical “lifts”

Arm, thigh, and butt lifts are surgical alternatives to BodyTite treatments, but they are major surgical procedures that require long healing periods and result in more conspicuous scarring. BodyTite delivers similar results without the risks and downtime of surgery—and you can have the procedure right in the comfort of our office.

FaceTite

FaceTite uses the same RFAL technology to tone, sculpt, and rejuvenate the contours of your face. A “mini-facelift” with FaceTite can be performed in our office in just a couple of hours, with minimal discomfort and virtually no healing time. In addition, the results are almost immediate.

Many people see dramatic results using FaceTite and liposuction on the fat deposits under the chin.  This is an excellent alternative to a neck lift or face lift.

If you’ve been considering a surgical facelift to erase the signs of aging, but you’re not quite ready for all that surgery entails, FaceTite is an excellent alternative offering surgery-like results.

CosmoPen

If you’re concerned about fine facial lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, enlarged pores, or even stretch marks on your body, you may be a good candidate for microneedling with CosmoPen.

The treatment involves vertically piercing the skin with tiny sterile needles—it sounds painful, but it really isn’t. The procedure works because it stimulates the body to produce collagen and encourages blood flow to the treated areas. This results in improvement in fine lines, scars, and wrinkles.  Many of our patients say they see a glow in their skin after treatments.

Microneedling with CosmoPen also opens tiny channels that allow better penetration of skin care products that improve your skin’s texture and tone.

What’s it like?

The procedure is performed in our office by Dr. Haque. When it’s finished, we’ll apply a cooling mask to soothe any redness or discomfort. You’ll need to apply moisturizer frequently during your healing period and always wear sunscreen. Redness usually disappears within a day or so.

How often do I need treatments?

We recommend a series of three treatments every other month for six months. After that, Dr. Haque will recommend a follow-up schedule as needed to maintain your results.

Injectables

Injectables are often the first line of defense against the early signs of aging and can be done in tandem with the other procedures or alone. They generally fall into two categories. The first is paralyzing agents such as Botox that relax muscles that lead to wrinkles and crease formation around the eyes and forehead. Second are dermal fillers such as Juvederm, Radiesse, and Restylane that plump up fine lines and wrinkles, enhance facial contours, and smooth and tighten skin.

Most injectables treatments require several tiny injections in the affected areas of the face; results can last between 3 to 6 months for Botox and up to a year or more for dermal fillers.

The “liquid facelift” is a popular combination of different injectables in different parts of the face to gently erase signs of aging around the eyes, forehead, and lips, and restore more youthful contours to the cheeks and chin. Depending on the combination of injectables, results from liquid facelifts can last up to a year or more. D

What’s it like?

Injectables, including liquid facelift procedures, are virtually pain-free, and typically take less than an hour to complete in our office. You may experience mild redness or slight bruising around the injection sites, but these effects are quite brief. Most people return to work or their normal activities right after injectables treatments.
