Many people want to achieve great fat reduction and skin tightening without invasive procedures or surgery. BodyTite, SculpSure, and CoolSculpting are different technologies that aim to reduce unwanted fat deposits. When looking to improve the contours and tone of your body, you want to make the right choice selecting a procedure. At Queen City Plastic Surgery, we offer BodyTite and FaceTite in-office, minimally invasive procedures to help you achieve the fat reduction that you desire.

How does BodyTite, SculpSure and CoolSculpting Treatments Compare?

• BodyTite is a newer option that differs from older technologies like CoolSculpting and SculpSure. BodyTite directly eliminates fat cells through the use of liposuction and tightens skins through radio-frequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL) technology.

• CoolSculpting and Sculpsure use temperature to try and reduce fat, but cannot eliminate it.  Also, there is a limit to how much one can achieve with these non-invasive procedures.

Which areas are treated with BodyTite, SculpSure, and CoolSculpting?

All of these technologies can be used on a range of areas, including:

  • Back
  • Arms
  • Abdomen
  • Thighs
  • Hips
  • Under the chin
  • Love handles

The main differences in results for these areas are that BodyTite can actually tighten the skin and be combined with liposuction to remove fat in just one session.

How long does each treatment take?

BodyTite can be done in one session in the office and involves both fat removal and skin tightening.

Both CoolSculpting and Sculpsure require multiple cycles.

What are the different technologies?

BodyTite is a newer option that differs from older technologies like CoolSculpting and SculpSure. BodyTite directly eliminates fat cells and tightens skins through radiofrequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL). It specifically targets skin and fat to avoid leaving behind saggy or loose skin after the procedure is complete. BodyTite can be used in multiple areas of the body.

CoolSculpting’s focus is to freeze the fat and SculpSure is to heat it.  Both impact fat cells but do not remove them.

How are BodyTite, SculpSure, and CoolSculpting performed?

BodyTite uses thermal energy applied both below and above the skin to reduce fat and tighten skin at the same time. Making use of radio frequency-assisted lipolysis, it liquefies fat cells to remove them from targeted problem areas. The fat initially swells and hardens before dissolving and being naturally removed from the body. It also uses thermal energy above the skin for significant skin contraction and contouring, important for people who struggle with loose skin.

This advanced procedure is performed by a plastic surgeon for the best results and makes use of an internal probe for more efficient fat removal. It can also be combined with liposuction, also performed by a board-certified cosmetic surgeon. You will receive local anesthetic and epinephrine to reduce pain, decrease bleeding and support fat removal during the procedure, and recovery time is minimal. Dr. Haque will advise you on what to expect and the recovery time after your BodyTite procedure.

On the other hand, SculpSure and CoolSculpting are not invasive enough to require a physician and are usually performed by a technician.

What results can I expect with BodyTite, CoolSculpting and SculpSure?

CoolSculpting and SculpSure require multiple cycles and thus, you won’t see results immediately after the treatment.  With BodyTite you can begin to see results immediately after your treatment and after only one session, although the full results will be visible within three to six months after your treatment. In addition, BodyTite not only targets fat cells but also tightens the skin as you go, eliminating unwanted sag. Skin tightening is a major advantage of BodyTite, especially as many people who have lost weight still struggle with sagging or excess skin in targeted areas.

What are the benefits of BodyTite?

BodyTite is different because it directly eliminates fat immediately, liquefying and removing it. You can begin to see results immediately after your BodyTite treatment and after only one session. In addition, BodyTite not only targets fat cells but also tightens the skin as you go, eliminating unwanted sag. Skin tightening is a major advantage of BodyTite, especially as many people who have lost weight still struggle with sagging or excess skin in targeted areas.

BodyTite can also be combined with in-office traditional liposuction for even more incredible results, including skin tightening and contouring. For people interested in more substantial fat reduction, BodyTite can be an important part of helping you achieve your goals for your body. As BodyTite is an extensive procedure, it is best performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon with significant expertise in fat reduction and body contouring.
