Even though the calendar says January is the start of the new year, in my mind, it has always been September.  Autumn has always been a beautiful time of new beginnings and transitions in my life…..and that goes for my skincare too! Here are some great tips to help you transition your skin from any potential summer damage and prepare it for winter months.

Protect those luscious lips!
It is inevitable; every year, dry, cracked lips. Yuck! Start moisturizing them now with a non-petroleum based lip balm to prevent those wintery lips. We love Epionce Lip Renewal to keep the lips moist.

Fall ExFOLIation!
Get it? Fall FOLI-age for exfoliation? That’s cute, right?! Treat yourself to some oil-based scrubs to get rid of that dry and flaky feeling from the summer sun and chlorine. A full body exfoliation session will leave your skin feeling hydrated and exfoliated! The Epionce Lytic Plus Tx  and Dermastart Mini Facial will help keep you exfoliated without being too harsh.

Soft Hands, Warm Heart!
With the change in seasons comes dry and cracked hands, again, it’s inevitable. Take charge now by moisturizing with a great hand cream to ensure the softest, warmest, hands all winter long! The Epionce Extreme Barrier Cream and Epionce Restorative Hand Cream are terrific options.

Smell good vs. Feel good?
I know, I know! #thestruggleisreal when it comes to deciding between those amazing fragrant scrubs and the soap-free hydrating cleansers but my friends, if you want to avoid the crack, you gotta invest in the creamy…..creamy body wash that is! Both the Epionce Milky Lotion Cleanser and Dermastart Gentle Foaming Cleanser are fabulous options.

Switch out your clothes, switch out your lotions!
Lotions are great, don’t get me wrong, but as the air becomes drier, your skin needs protected and that is where the thicker moisturizer from creams comes in handy! Investing in a good cream will reduce water loss and provide hydration to the outer layer of skin. The Epionce Renewal enriched body lotion smells great and is moisturizing without being heavy.  If you need some extra moisture in your existing skincare products, mixing in a little Dermastart Sodium Hyaluronate can help add a boost.

Now that fall is here and temperatures are dropping, it’s a good time to look at your skincare!
