runner-stretching-armTo support Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2016, Queen City Plastic Surgery is providing a 20% discount off all skincare products to breast cancer survivors and their partners. It is our way of celebrating survivors of this devastating disease and their partners who play a vital care-taking and supportive role. Taking time to take care of oneself is an important part of the personal fight against this disease.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month brings awareness to this devastating disease that affects one in eight women. Much progress has been made in the fight against breast cancer. In fact, over 2.8 million breast cancer survivors are alive in the United States today.

Dr. Enam Haque, the Queen City Plastic Surgery staff, our breast cancer reconstruction patients and family members are all excited to be a part of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Charlotte taking place on Saturday October 1. The staff has organized a team that will participate in the race.  Dr. Haque and the Queen City team recognize how important events like the Race for the Cure Charlotte are in the fight against breast cancer.

We are proud to be an active part of organizations like Komen Charlotte. Since it’s inception in 1997, Komen Charlotte has invested more than $14 million in local breast cancer initiatives.
